總部位於(yú)中國香港的 viAct 今天宣布完成瞭(le) 200 萬美元的種子輪融資 ，由 SOSV 和 Vectr Ventures 共同領投。本次參投方還包括阿裏巴巴香港創業基金會 、Artesian Ventures 和 ParticleX。viAct 成立於(yú) 2016 年，主要通過基於(yú)人工智能的雲平台 ，結合計算機視覺 、邊緣設備和移動應用，幫助建築工地進行全天候監控。
目前該公司已經服務於(yú)亞洲和歐洲的 30 多家建築行業客戶，本次籌集的資金将用於(yú)研發、産品開發和拓展東南亞國家。該平台利用計算機視覺來檢測潛在的安全隐患、施工進度以及機械和材料的位置。實時警報(bào)會被發送到一個界面簡潔的移動應用上 ，專爲那些經常“在嘈雜和動态的環境中工作，很難看清詳細的儀表盤”的工程師設計。
聯合創始人兼首席運營官 Hugo Cheuk 表示，該公司将會率先進入印尼和越南等東南亞市場 ，因爲政府對智慧城市和新基礎設施的規劃意味著(zhe)未來5到10年那裏的新建設項目将增加。它還将進入新加坡，因爲開發商願意採用基於(yú)AI的技術。
